Europe – THE place to go?

Europe is probably the continent with the most diversity – in other continents, the culture is very similar throughout, not in Europe though.

In the north, places like Iceland or Scandinavia offer almost a magical feeling – wide landscapes and cold weather but incredible ice glaciers are just a sneak peak of what you can expect.

The United Kingdom and Ireland has London, but also Stonehenge, green cliffs in Ireland and wide nothingness on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

Moving further south to central Europe, you can find Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Swiss, Poland and many more. Whilst they all have hot summers and cold, snowy winters, the Netherlands can brag with Amsterdam and its narrow colorful houses, and Germany with the multi-culti historic Berlin.

In the west, France, Spain and Portugal will woo you with Paris, the city of love, stunning nature at the Cote d’Azur, narrow streets in Barcelona, and beautiful beaches in south Portugal.

Countries like Italy, Turkey, Greece or Croatia are all warm places buzzing with life, yet their culture is as diverse as can be. Both Greek and Italian food is amazing, but as different as night and day.

Lastly, Eastern Europe including the Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria or Hungary offer a lot of cultural and historic sites, but if you are looking for a beautiful beach, you can also find it here.

Europe is very safe, no matter where you go. Of course there are some areas within large cities that are a little less safe, but every country and continent has these regions. If you are a female solo traveler, there is no need to worry.

So if you want to experience a large variety of different cultures and climates within driving distance, Europe is the place to go.
